ABOUT RAY
Hi! I'm Ray (they/she/rem), and I help people cultivate peace and harmony in their lives. You might say I'm a jack of many trades, because my interests and skills are quite varied. There is a common thread that weaves through all of the knowledge, skills, and work that I engage in: compassionate guidance. More than anything, I want to share what I know with people who need my expertise. Teaching and learning are gifts that I have not always known exactly what to do with. There are so many options! Should I write a book? Should I teach at a school? Should I start a business? Should I become a coach or counselor?
Over the years I've found various ways to engage and give back to the world, from running a home daycare and giving advice to parents whenever they asked to teaching kindergarten at a Waldorf school, to working with a DEI consulting organization, to starting a YouTube channel and speaking on podcasts. No matter what I'm doing to make a positive impact on the world, above all, I value peace, harmony, freedom, presence, and responsibility. I am doing my best to live out my values while being fully present in each and every moment. As I reflect and grow, I invite you to learn along with me!

"Mama" as identity...
Part of who I am is a mother.​

I have taken care of children for much longer than I have been a mother, and I am beyond grateful to all of the families who invited me to practice my parenting skills by caring for their kids.
​
One of my favorite ways to spend time and energy is talking with parents, trading best practices and shared experience. Sometimes I meet parents at a playground, and we chat while the kids play. Other times I talk with parents on the phone while the children are sleeping. I am open to helping families in whatever way works best for them.

Peace & Harmony through Transformation
Our lives are full of conflict, whether within ourselves, with others, between groups or countries. We are continually practicing how to cultivate peace and harmony in our lives and in the world. As we create inner peace and engage in harmonious relationships, we transform ourselves and the world around us. As a teacher, I can bring knowledge, ideas, and resources to the table. The individuals receiving the information and guidance must decide what to do with it and find their own applications that transform their lives. One of the greatest joys for me personally is seeing the joy and peace that comes from transformational growth.
